proud of you, isabella

fluent Eng, yeah~! =D

i am so impressed by her accent! and you can tell she was so confident when she talked. well done, isabella!

Wow, I was shocked !!! She sounded very confident and she even had the American accent too !!! Good job girl. I am sure she'll do really well in Hollywood.

Erica, eat your heart out. Bet you are so jealous of Isabella having a rich boyfriend and making Hollywood movies now. Guess what? With a ugly face of yours and a ugly heart to match, you are going nowhere but to those stupid shows in shopping mall where your die hard fans are gearing up with their cameras hoping to get a shot of your sagging face and tits!!

Desertfox 說...

I didn't know she spent 2 years to get to this level. Honestly speaking, nothing special. When I read about this on CTM's blog I thought she spent half a year on a crash course or something. 2 years is all I take to learn Norwegian from nothing to fluent. Although I was actually living in Norway during that time.

Assuming she knows some English before your conversation with her and she concentrate on just English for the following 2 years and then this Youtube video. Then all I can give applause to is her determination.

Desertfox,

哈哈,你响度show off呀? =D

This blog was written directed to Isabella on a personal level. I doubt she even reads your blog.

If you really wanted to wish her the best, why not e mail her or give her a call personally? I would assume the two of you are not even that close to begin with......I doubt you even have her phone number.

You wrote it because Isabella has successfully made it to Hollywood, and you wanted to take credit by telling everyone that YOU took part in HER success.

So she now has some success in her career, you are taking credit for it. Erica Erica Erica....how shallow. From the sound of it, I thought you were her personal mentor?

"Hey! Look at me! Someone is successful because I gave her advice ONCE! 1 point for me! 1 POINT!"

Desertfox 說...

Snowy,
No intention to show off. Just wanted to point out the fact that anyone can do that. You did it, I did it and I am sure plenty of immigrants have done it.

For Isabella, with such a huge motivation pushing her (being able to act in Hollywood), it adds another reason to her language success.

I used to be make fun of everyday. You know how little boys are. Looking for people to make fun of. This happened to me twice. Once when I was trying to learn Norwegian and once when I was trying to learn English. To be able to speak my mind out without being made fun of was my motivation to learn the language well.

Mia 說...

Her English actually reminds me of Kate Tsui's.

Both are very forcefully (almost unnaturally... esp Kate's) American-accented and annunciated, with heavy emphasis on the 'er' sound at the end of her words, and dramatic intonation.

Isabella's English is probably an ILR Level 2~3 (A native speaker is Level 5).

But as a previous poster said: 英文,肯講,就成功左一大半.

Good on her.
