I agree Gold is a good investment but it has accumulated certain percentage of growth in the recent years. I dont think it is a good strategy to lock down gold as the sole investment but i agree it should be treated as an essential component in your investment portfolio. my 2 cents is buy gold and CNY and may be some AUD/NZD. and oh yes, i rem u mention about buying house in one of ur article, that is a good choice too...

入幾手盈富基金。這是一個不錯的方法
但我先幫你一下投資上觀點改正，今年應是買賣樓超賺，但已經是水尾，接貨太危啦，但投資方面，你先要推測加息週期何時到，因為當加息周期之前，在樓市會出現最後一浪升潮後，便告做市騙人入局的情況，加息和通脹，兩管之下，股票會回升，到時會慢慢可以回到25000點，你就可收穫離埸。
下年在未加息但已經通賬會情況，會增加下年的Financial report的盈利，是有利做市
注意這個不是我說的收穫期，真的收穫期是通脹的兩年後，所以買股票上18000或以下 16000 14000 都是佷好的入市時機。最好分級入市。

16000 40%stock & 60% cash/gold

我某程度上同意Erica的意見，雖然黃金產量不斷增加，而在工業用途減少（不過情況比銀好，菲林不用銀帶來傷害很大），但中國的經濟局面很不理想，由能源和糧食的通脹，加上中國人民銀行連串膠到無朋友的舉動，令中國股市己經去到要靠新華社出口術，中央政府將自已賭下去的地步。如果中央托市失敗，或人心虛怯，中國那個「金融堰塞湖」的錢將跑到哪裡？
港交所十月搞黃金期市，有先見之明。香港的期市肯定頗為刺激。
